So I'm leaving the defense vulnerable... but I don't think there is one player on defense who alone holds the team's fortunes. I suppose if I was going to give it to one player on the defense, it would likely be Adam Carriker, as I think he can be the anchor of the D line if healthy.

Agree with all three players. But if I had to put them in order, I'd give one to Jackson first, then Orlando Pace and then Marc Bulger.

I believe Jackson is the most irreplaceable player we have, Pace is second, and then Bulger because I believe Green could come in and do a sufficient job, should Marc go down as long as he gets protection.

    Bulger, Jackson, and Pace

    Very Close: Witherspoon, Carriker

#1. Orlando Pace- With him as the anchor of the O-line I feel I can save the
pill that most are giving to Bulger.

#2. Steven Jackson- Besides being the beast that he is, he forces the opposing defense to key on him thus making everyone else on the offense more effective.

#3. Leonard Little- We all saw the lack of a pass rush once LL went down last season. Now with Long added to the mix Leonard Little is even more valuable because of the double teams he attracts.

If I had a 4th pill? Which I don't, it would have gone to Torry Holt.

Re: Magic Health Pills (2008 Version)

Is Brett Favre selling his 'get out of injury' pills! sweeeet....

Well if I only get 3 pills, and I can't go climbing any stalks for more....

I'd give one to MARSHALL FAULK and one to AENEAS WILLIAMS............... (hey, if they can't get hurt... !!!)

as for current rams players, it'd be #1 SJ, #2 Pace...... (3 years out of 3 w/out him would be murder on the offense) and #3 Bulger.

though i'd sure be tempted to take Bulger's pill for myself and get out on the pitch to puke out my guts for the glory of the ol' blue and gold!

Re: Magic Health Pills (2008 Version)

I though I'd go something different than the common Pace, S-Jax, Bulger

Tye Hill- Corners are essential, injuries have always been an excuse for him. I want a healthy season out of him to see how great he can be or if we have to go in another direction.
Richie Incognito- Great run blocker decent pass blocker I want to see him put it all together and open up huge holes for SJ. He is in a contract year so i hope he works his butt of for his money.
Torry Holt- Surprised no one has said him. He is the essential go to guy in the offense. WR probably our most shakey position talent and depth wise (unproven young guys) besides center. We need his knees to hold up or even get better

Hey 39, check it out. I am with you. Holt is critical this year. Go "Big Play"!

Re: Magic Health Pills (2008 Version)

Pace, Jackson, Incognito or possibly Pace again

The Rams are no longer built to throw all game long like the GSOT. We have to have Jackson healthy. We all saw what happens when o linemen go down, so I give Pace the first and largest pill, and maybe even save one just in case the first one doesn't work. Pace is the cornerstone of our offense, without him we crumble.
