Re: Make a trade to San Diego for QB Rivers?

Stay away from Boller and Harrington. They both make horrible decisions and we don't know what kind of QB that Fitz will be yet so just wait before you go talking about trading for Rivers and having to probably give a first or second round pick in the process.

Bulger is far better than Boller or Harrington. He's a fine QB, and you'd be fools to get rid of him. As far as his health goes, I think that has more to do with your line.

Wait, what am I saying... get rid of the b*st*rd! Bulger sucks!

    LOL

My opinion? I'd make the trade in a second. I really think Rivers is going to be a star in this league, and you are right that his days in San Diego won't go beyond this year.

I don't feel the Rams will do this though, but I'd be happy as heck if they did.

Re: Make a trade to San Diego for QB Rivers?

I simply do not see how anyone can justify spending what would likely be a first or second round pick on a quarterback when we have so many glaring needs on defense, and I've yet to see any argument that even comes close to justifying it.

If you want a good team, then you have to address your needs, and quarterback is not a big need - nearly every position on the defense and even some others on the offense rate as bigger needs for this team.

Is it a coincidence that the two guys who want to make this deal are located in San Diego?

If the Rams go after a QB, I'd like to see them draft Brodie Croyle later in the draft.

    +Good Mobility

    +Great Arm

    +Pocket Presence

    +Great Potential

+Does not turn the ball over

    -Arm may be too strong

-Has a tendency to take too many hits by not sliding or throwing the ball away.

If we dont do something about the offensive line we're gonna need a QB like Fran Tarkington in order to keep him alive.
