Man, if you bought 1,000 shares of Alex Baron, Inc. this morning...

    ...you'd be rich this afternoon.

Let's hope the stock stays high!

Its all relative. Sapai got killed out there and as long as barron is better than anyone else we have, i see no reason why he shouldnt play. He sure looked solid today and the fumble recovery was just huge.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that Barron is going to be a Pro Bowl player this year or that there won't likely be some significant bumps along the way.

But to go from the inactive list to coming in and taking over the starting job in a week's time is quite a jump.

I agree with you 100% Av, but you have to admit that sapaia did a pretty good impression of john st clair today.

I admit I don't watch the line all that close during the game, but it seemed like Sapaia was making some huge blocks in the running game this year. It also seemed like pressure was consistantly coming from that side in the passing game, though. He should make a solid guard someday, hopefully.

No false starts by Barron, and he was the one who recovered Bulgers fumble...very athletically I might add.

He's got my for for next week....and the one after that.

    Gee,
I had heard so many good things about Sapaia (sp), that I'm sad to hear he didn't do so well out there today.

What do you guys think? Could he take over for one of our older guards?

I think he has a great future for us-=as a guard-next year or so. I believe that he and terrell are the guards of the future, with hopefully incognito as the center. add barron and pace and you have our future line..
