Marc Bulger
He better not let us down. He knows he's going into this game with a less than solid o-line. He knows the Seabags are going to bring it. Especially Julian Peterson. Peterson has always played well against us. He has 6 sacks this season and forced 4 fumbles. Marc has to read and react quicker. Forget about taking the sacks. Check down, throw the ball away, do something anything other than take a sack.

Re: Marc Bulger
I don't think you have to worry bout Marc letting us down!!! he will do his best, just hope his blockers give him time thats all I ask, and that includes the RB's...

Re: Marc Bulger
If Marc Bulger plays like Marc Bulger, it'll mean he's getting the support he needs and we'll have a shot. It will be very interesting to see how the team responds to the events that happened during the week.
When he played against Dallas, I really though his line would find the fortitude to step it up and protect their injured leader, but it obviously didn't happen. It needs to happen against Seattle because he'll have that big bullseye on his chest once again.

Re: Marc Bulger
Both Bulger and Warner are football warriors this week.
I think if Bulger is playing, than he is ready to play. It's up to the O-line to protect Bulger and give him time to find some guys to throw to.

Marc will always deliver as long as he physically capable of doing so.

Re: Marc Bulger
"Give him time to set his feet, and he'll pick Defenses apart" how many times have we heard this of Bulger?

Re: Marc Bulger
The force is strong with this one

I'm sure he will do fine if given the line, as stated before

Re: Marc Bulger
If the line folds, "the FORCE MIGHT BE STRONG WITH ONE" but I worry the Seahawks will get WOOKIE on him

Re: Marc Bulger
But wait a minute-- Olson's game plans weeks three and four were catered to this strategy. Take the short hitch or check down to prevent from getting sacked or injured further. Why, now, with the same battered offensive line and without Steven Jackson is this a valid gameplan when is wasn't two weeks ago?

Re: Marc Bulger
I really thought it was a good idea, starting Gus Frerotte, to give the Rams offensive a much needed spark with veteran leadership. I sorry to say I was completely wrong!

7 sacks, 3 picks, 2 lost fumbles..... Bulger needs to play smarter.

Re: Marc Bulger
Some of those sacks were on him, holding onto the ball too long. But the play calling needs to change.
The first drive of the second half was good, then they reverted back to the trash they were running in the first half. I just don't get it.JUST WIN ONE FOR THE FANS

Re: Marc Bulger
My impression is that he has been at times. But sometimes you simply don't have the time to do so, and pulling the ball back to throw when you're going to get nailed is the recipe for a fumble. When you don't have time to throw it away, pull it down and eat the sack instead of cocking it and getting it swatted out of your hand.
I'll have to go back and watch the game to see how many of these sacks are on him, but KLOU's Savard and Hannifan seemed to think this was one of the worst O-line performances they remember seeing in a long time.
