    Marc Bulger= Jim Everett....

SOrry guys but bulger looks done now. He still has the tools but no confidence. He looks like Jim Everett after the PHANTOM SACK in the 89' NFC championship game...

Having no confidence in yourself and having no confidence in your OL is very different.

    Bulger has the latter

How is Bulger done, if he still has the tools?

Its a confidence thing. He isnt standing tall in the pocket and he isnt able to get into a ryhtem.

4+ heavy hits a game, 10+ hurry ups and many hits during throws etc etc would throw ANY quarterback off his game.

Good point. How many times was he sacked by a depleted Giants defense?

Jim Everett was the same way... starting in the 90' season he lost all confidence in his skills and his o-line...

I agree bulger looked on Sunday like a man that wanted to get something done, he looked as though he had some purpose as to what he wanted to do, he just had no offensive line, and you could see how pissed he was getting during the game. People with no cofidence don't act that way they just go sit in the corner with their head down, for example Vince Young in week 1.

I am pretty certain kurt warner would have led this team to
victories in both games with the jv o-line vs the depleted Giants
defense with a lot of divine intervention. Tom Brady and both Mannings would have won both games too behind our line without help from "above"!

I don't blame MB if he is praying to be traded. I would be too.

I don't think the OP was saying that either was better than the other, just that both have had to deal with a steep drop-off in talent and support around them. Take Marvin Harrison away from Peyton...just that one thing...and see how happy he is about it. Not deal with an injury, just get rid of him so that Brandon Stokely can become the #2.

Would anyone else trade the extra they gave Josh Brown to keep Bruce and settle for kicker X? Brown's looked real good but I'd be much happier with an offense that doesn't have to rely on it's kicker for the only points they're getting.

Bulger shares blame in this whole thing, but his offensive line has been a shambles the last 18 games. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning would struggle behind this group. You are only as good as the people up front allow you to be, and right now, the offensive line stinks. Bulger's face registers a combination of disgust, lack of confidence and despair every time he leaves the field.

Let's face it: Bulger looked great in a Martz system that had every imaginable weapon: Bruce, Holt, Curtis, Looker, Furrey, Faulk, Manumaleauna, etc. With only Holt left along with a couple of rookies and a hurt Drew Bennett, suddenly he is very average. Again, you are only as good as the people around you allow you to be.
