    Marc Bulger maturing as QB

Four games... here are the stats:

    139 attempts, 96 completions, 1,201 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INTs. Passer rating 99.2.

Marc is playing in control, he's avoiding the big mistakes for the most part, and he's looking like a leader.

The Rams have a good young QB in Bulger.

Avenger, I totally agree. MB is looking good, solid. I'm glad we have No. 10 as our QB.

    Fine performance Vs. Frisco tonight.

Re: Marc Bulger maturing as QB

He's been one of few bright spots in the first 3 games of the season. He continued to look good in tonight's game. He is looking a lot more mature out there. Way to go 10! Keep it up against the Squawks.

Glad to see Bulger looking sharp out there. Hopefully it carries over to the Seahawks game, which will be our biggest test of the season.

I think he only has 1101 yards through the air on the season though, not 1201.

Re: Marc Bulger maturing as QB

I hate to blow up your celebration.....but Bulger faced zero pressure tonight from a bad ***** front 4 and faced no blitzing.....

When he sees pressure (See the Atlanta game, and the Lions game in 03) he throws it up and makes bad decisions.....

Oh, and I believe that the Hawk's #1 rated scoring D (see the nfl.com stats) knows this and will bring it to Marc.....

Re: Marc Bulger maturing as QB

Bulger had a 102.2 passer rating against Atlanta.

Maybe you should do your homework and then comment. Otherwise, you just look silly.

Re: Marc Bulger maturing as QB

He was blindsided on that play because Pace allowed the DE to get close enough to reach out and hit the ball.

Appparently, the only people who think that was Bulger's fault are Seahawk fans and Uber-Warnerites.

Bulger was money. He showed he can move the ball around and had complete command of his game tonight. I know he gave the sea chickens something to think about.

Re: Marc Bulger maturing as QB

Bulger is playing really well so far.I like the fact that he is spreading the ball around more and not zeroing in on Holt like he did last year.He is definitely maturing and continues to remain calm under pressure.

I can think of a couple more words for it. But they don't belong here.

Congrats to MB from a very well executed game. He might just make this team after all...

You are correct. My bad. His rating is 96.2.

Still, pretty darn good start if you ask me.
