first Qrt he sucked at moving out of the pocket. Its pissing me off that

he steps in to the blitz instead of stepping left or right. Same O Same O is

what i see. Im at a lost to see us look sooo bad with our first group in the

starting group.

I can see the poor drafting from years past not being gone for atleast two years.

I hear ya but we can't really determine too much from a pre-season game. I know it's outrageously frustrating to not think this is a sign of things to come but we can't. It's pre-season, let's not get too crazy over it.

Two of those sacks were because of sub-par RB blocks on the blitzers. On that last sack it was an absolute whiff by Darby before the blitzer got to Marc(Please note: Bulger's first name is Marc with a 'c'). But yes, he seems gunshy back there as well.

On the positive side, he threw that long pass the Robinson into a freaking porthole to get him the ball which was great to see. Key was that it was only a 3 step drop before he threw it.

Come on, i was upset too, but the sack could of been avoided. lets fave it, our rb suck at blocking. the line is not that bad. the rb blocking scheme is. on a lighter side. laurinitis and smith looked good

First off is pre season and second terrible blitz pickup all around . He will be fine as long as we learn what blitz pickup is and the line continues to play well.

What you definitely DON'T need, though, is blocking. Especially blitz pick-ups from RBs. Nope, don't need that.

When I first saw this thread title, I thought it was gonna be a rant against all the gushing over Mark Sanchez by the Jet announcers after 3 pass completions in a preseason game.
