Is Marshall Gone?
The announce team talked a lot about today possibly being Faulk's last home game as a Ram, which I don't put a lot of stock in, but after the contest, many Ram players made a concerted effort to find Marshall and give him a pat and a few words. Makes we wonder if they may have some insight to something we don't.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
Very well could be. Faulk might be in the same situation Favre is - you'd like to stay around a few more years if your team is going to be competitive, but if the organization is scrapping the staff and going into rebuild mode, it might be better to call it a career.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
The Rams won't contend again for at least 3 years so Faulk probably should retire or try to catch on somewhere else. I am hoping this is the last Ram home game for 8 or 9 of the guys on the defensive side of the ball. At least as starters.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
If Mike Martz is not here next year, look to Marshall Faulk jacking it in.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
depends on who the new coach is and what he tells marshall about his expected role. i assume faulk will take a while to make up his mind. cap wise, if he retires, it wont be before june 1. i also dont agree that it will take us three years to be competitive. thats not the way the nfl works these days. we are still loaded on offense.

Yeah, I'm sure that when he goes to the podium upon being inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he'll remark how his career was great, but he's still haunted by a loss to the Whiners in 2005.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
I just can't believe that we lost against the worst team in the nfl, gave over 200 rushing yards. and 24 points.
For Christ Sakes we still have Isaac, Tory, MF, SJ, we were SB contender by the begining of the year. THe only think I can think is that we did it on purpose to get a better draft pick

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
For all of you who didnt attend the game they showed a special video of Marshall Faulks career. It showed animated vids of marshall juking out these monster things then showed clips from him with colts and rams like allmost every season. Then at the end it basicly said Thank you Marshall.

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
Will Bruce be back? How deep and wide will the rebuilding be?

Re: Is Marshall Gone?
I saw the same thing and it has me a bit concerned that would be criminal if we let him go ...
