Marshall speaks on Sports Sunday

Segment showed Marshall at his charity fund-raiser this weekend. They interviewed him briefly and asked about the retirement rumors. Marshall said there's not much of a chance he'll retire this year. He said, "I'd like to say there's not much of a chance, but we'll see." He said he's listening to his body and as far as being ready, he said "I was hoping it was before now and it's not. I'm starting to feel like a stranger to my body but I'm doing the best I can". He did say that he definitely wants to play football this year. Marshall says there's not a problem between him and Linehan. He laughed and said, "is there supposed to be one or something? Everybody keeps asking me about that."

Thanx for the piece RW, cleared a few things up for a bit anyway. Sounds like his heart says yes, his head says, let's step back and take a long look. Marshall has been Class up to this point, an about face would seem unlikely.

Yeah I posted that the guy who said there were problems is lying. Marshall will play this year. Also there are no problems between he and Jackson either.

I hope Marshall comes back for at least 1 more year. Curious to see how he is used and how he does with the new coaching staff.
