Meet Deacon Jones and Jackie Slater in LA!

Freedom4U is a youth-oriented non-profit that provides creative arts programs, life skills workshops, and instills leadership and community service in our youth. Freedom4U was founded by Coach George Allen's son, Dr. Greg Allen.

Our fundraiser, Evening with the Stars II, will celebrate Coach George Allen's theme of "The Future is Now". Mingle with sports stars such as NFL Hall of Famers Deacon Jones and Jackie Slater, World Series Champ and All-Star LA Dodger Maury Wills, Super Bowl Winner Rod Martin, NFL All-Pros Ron Brown, Christian Okoye, LeRoy Irvin, and Pro Bowler Sam Cunningham, Super Bowl Winner Calvin Sweeney, Peninsula High Coach/Cal Bear Kevin Moen, and others!

Dinner and wine are included. There will be a fabulous silent and live auction, live jazz entertainment, and opportunity drawing tickets for a 1-week Carribean cruise.

WHEN: Thursday, April 23, 5:30-9:00pm

WHERE: The event will be held at Trump National Golf Club, 1 Ocean Trails Drive, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274

However, if you ever want to see the Deacon, go to Anaheim Hill GC. He's there quite often. He'll sit and talk to you about the "good ol' days" as long as you care to listen. Great guy.

This is actually a pretty good deal if dinner is included. My wife is a preferred vendor at Trump National. We have done over 100 events there.

Sunday brunch is $50.00, so $125.00 for dinner plus wine is a pretty good value. The food is more than often spectacular.

I would love to meet Deacon Jones someday. I met Jackie Slater is St. Louis a couple of years ago. We were staying at the same hotel and I happened to get on the elevator he was already on. Very nice guy.
