I think you answered your own question. Only time will tell. On that same note. I think he will be an upgrade on anyone we have had in the position since Fletcher. It can't hurt anything at this point.

    Same subject...
Spoon I believe was the only real option the Rams had. This by far was the biggest need position we had on the team and neither the draft or free agency could address the need. There was no immediate talent out there that the Rams could capitalize on. They did the next best thing available to them. Spoon will be the key to success in the 2006 season.

Hard to say at this point. Man, I miss London Fletcher.

Back when the collective bargaining negotiations were going on, teams were given the opportunity to release players with the same benefit as if they were released on June 1st, so we may not see as much activity this time around. The only high profile name I hear who will likely be cut is Steve McNair, and that doesn't help us.

    Wink Re: In The Middle?

Who will answer the bell at MLB?

    Witherspoon?

I think not. Spoon will be on special teams before the season's over.

    The answer....

    In just three little letters.....

    Tim McGarigle.

    Re: In The Middle?

Yeaaahhh that's right. McGarigle comes on late and leads the RAMS Defense in tackles, interceptions, and extra points (half of which are by drop kick). That's the ticket. Yeaaahh. And he goes on to graduate school at yale...no Harvard where he earns a lower GPA than Ryan Fitspatrick..and cures exema...and......

Is it true that Witherspoon said: "I don't know why I came here tonight, I got the feeling that something ain't right..."

Wow, OSH is rampant....(OffSeasonHysteria). Spoon will be fine in the middle, it's the front four that I'm worried about.

I'm not worried about Spoon in the middle. He'll make the adjustment. He can make an impact wherever he plays.

    Re: In The Middle?

It's not like he hasn't played the middle of a 4-3 before. When Morgan was injured, Spoon played the middle for the Panthers.

It's not his natural spot, but he's done it before (successfully), he can do it again. The bigger question is will the other 10 people around him do their job?!
