    Mike Hoomanawanui Cleared

" Rams TE Michael Hoomanawanui (ACL surgery) has been cleared to practice. Hoomanawanui has never been a fast healer, so it's a positive sign that he's ready to participate in training camp seven months after surgery. Primarily a blocking specialist, "Illinois Mike" is without fantasy relevance behind Lance Kendricks. "

Today is a good day.. Hopefully he can stay healthy and continue to play good football this year.

IMO, this guy is vastly underrated as an offensive weapon. IF he can stay healthy, he'll produce. Big if though.

Agreed. When he had the chance to play he ran terrific routes and had amazing hands. He made so many plays.

Yeah, he really looked good last year in preseason and in the season before he went down to injury. I hope he's not injury prone because the guy can produce and is also an excellent blocker. I figure he'll be used heavily in the playaction game as well as double-TE sets

He sounds like he and Danario Alexander are kind of in the same boat - the potential to be effective weapons on the field, but an inability to stay healthy enough to remain there. I hope both of them can find the sustained health that has alluded them in the past.

Can we finally get a good all around TE?
