Mock Gambling Week 17

RICHBERT88 - The Mock Gambling 2006/07 competition winner!

A brief review of Week 17

10 Guys submitted bet for the final week
Rams lost 48-19, thus failing to make the spread - 5/10 bets on the Rams
No one called EXACT Bulger's passing yards - Ramsanddodgers was nearest
Rams - 2 TDs scored - 2/10 called 2 **** SEE BELOW****
Dr.Defense - the only guy to call all 3 in 'Pick the game winners'
Lewis/Fitzgerald - lead the league in rushing and receiving - Just myself called Jamal Lewis, no on else called either Lewis/Fitz.

Roll - over bonus - If the Rushing/Receiving leaders were not called and the bonus not won, the $45,000 bonus as mentioned last week would rollover into Question 2, as uck would have it with Kloptenstein scoring the Rams 1st TD - No one called Klop, the bonus still had to be won, so IMHO the only fair way to give out the $45,000 was to give it to the guys who called Q3 correctly(How many Rams TD scored?) - 2 guys called 2 and thus gaining a $45,000 bonus - Overall even with this bonus added to mine and LA Ram0's amount it did not affect the OVERALL standings to produce a winner.

Badmoforamfan's first attempt at the competition and was leading in many of the weeks, like Richbert88, Badmoforamfan was always in and around the top 5-6 all season.

9th last season, I improved to 3rd this year never far away from the leaders although always trailing.

It's been an enjoyable thing to do again, and as long as the Clanram is around for next season, i'll be back heading it up again.

Thanks for putting this together each and every week JakieSlater. It made the season that much more enjoyable, even though the Rams/Losehan, attempted over and over again to make it an aggrevating one.

Thank you JS. What a great respite.

Unfortunately most of my winnings were won going against the Rams. I did bet with them against Atlanta and won, but earned the distinction of being first bankrupt taking the Rams over Baltimore, thanks again to Ferrotte and his six turnovers.

May we all have more reasons for betting the line with the Rams next season. This season developed somewhat predectable.
