Mock Gambling - The Final Standings

So after seventeen weeks of blood, sweat and tears, it all came down to the ball being in Tony Romo’s hands. He’d just dragged the Cowboys back into the game and their “D” had held firm to give them one more chance.
Three points behind but winning by half a point on the spread, things looked good for BigGameHolt81 as surely the very least the Cowboys would do is eventually go four and out and the Redskins would take a knee. I think it’s safe to say that the last thing that Tony Romo is worried about this morning is the Clan’s annual mock gambling competition. But as his floating pass was intercepted by the Redskins I’m pretty sure that somewhere in cyberspace viper was jumping off his couch and cheering.
That one moment turned the competition’s final week on its head and commiserations to long time leader BigGameHolt81, who finally gave up his top spot.
Congratulations to viper, you timed your run to perfection. I hope everybody will give you lots of Rep points.

John, you did a great job running the mock gambling program this year! I liked the variety that you gave us week in and week out. Everyone that competed should send some rep your way. Thank you!

It was another good year of competition in mock gambling this year. Several of you jumped out to huge leads quickly. I was so far back early on that I didn't think that I had much of a chance this year. But, somehow I was able to endure and inch my way up the ranks until finally the stars aligned. It came down to the last game between the Cowboys and the Redskins. It could have went either way at the end. Thanks everybody for participatiing again this year. I look forward to defending the title next year. Oh, and by the way, this is the 3rd time I've won the competition. It is sweet!

It hasn't quite set in yet that the end of the Rams season has arrived. But, here we are. Our Rams made a lot of improvement this year. We stand poised to bring in more talent this off season which will only make us better. While we need to add a few pieces on the defense, I hope that we focus our efforts on getting the offense more competitive. With those things in place I think we will have a very good team next year. Have a great off season everyone.
