Mock Roster based on Coaching Styles, etc...

Ok, I'll leave this up to someone else, but what does our team look like next year with the new coaches in place.

I think we have a few young guys on the O'line including Incognito to work in, and perhaps add another LB that might come from FA or the draft, but perhaps a few of you can put in names at all the positions, and put "FA" or "Draft" on positions you feel we will try to upgrade or maybe not sign an existing player. Doesn't sound like we have much dinero to work with...?

Thumbs down Re: Mock Roster based on Coaching Styles, etc...

    (Offense)
    QB-Marky Marc
RB-S.Jackson(could be a big year if Oline looks like that)
    FB-M.Hedgecock
    WR1-Holt
    WR2-Bruce
    WR3-Curtis
    TE-Dominique Bird(3rd round draft pick)USC)
    LT-Pace
    LG-Terrell
C-LeCharles Bentley(Heard some whispers about him being close with Hasslet.(Free agent)
    RG-Incognito
    RT-Barron

    (Defense)
    (4-3 base Defense)
    LE-Little
    DT-Pickett
    DT-Kennedy
    RE-Hargrove
    OLB-Hawaii 5-0
MLB-Claiborne(for now not too sure about him though)
    OLB-D'Qwell Jackson(2nd round pick)Maryland)
    CB1-Jeremetrius Butler
    CB2-Ronald Bartell
SS-Archuleta(could be valuable in the 3-4 plans)
    FS-Michael Huff(1st round pick)Texas)

Alot of the same personnel on Defense but I think Haslett will beat what they learned from Marmie out of them

i like it a lot... if a.j hawk were to miraculously fall into out laps obviously go for him.... for our 2nd round pick i would like to address the d-end spot... dt tackle is set resign lewis and pickett and let them actually show what they can do in a real defesnice scheme unlike marmies!!!! draft a DE that falls out of the 1st round...

LeCharles bently will most likely be hit with the franchise tag. If he gets on the market he will be offered a whole wad of cash...
And it looked like such a good day...

Re: Mock Roster based on Coaching Styles, etc...

All those teams I would be happy with as long as linehan shows that he will run the ball more(no sweeps on 3rd and 4th and 1)and Haslett toughens up the D and goes back to basics and shows them how to tackle and cover

I have not been so interested in the off-season before
    I cant wait!!!

I hope to see Claiborne back he has potential in our new D,I think Coakley is done a broken ankle and a broken leg thats tough to come back from at his age, thinking back the only linebacker we could have got in FA last year that would have made an impact would have been Antonio Pierce.Claiborne,Coakley,Hartwell,Sharper did not do much last year.Pierce was a bit pricey though

Somehow, I get the feeling that Clements would be the #1 corner here in St.Louis.
