Monday Night: Rams Secondary vs the Big 3
Come tomorrow night's game our starting d-backs will face the Lions' big 3 wide-outs: M. Williams (6' 5'' & 230 lbs.), R. Williams (6' 3'' & 220 lbs.), and Charles Rodgers (6' 3'' & 210 lbs). If our D-line is unable to pressure the QB it could be a long night .... particularly if Travis F. is unable to go. Also adding to our potential woes will be Kevin Jones who could emerge as one of the league's premier running backs this year.
Anyone out there feeling confident about the chances of a strong showing by our Rams?? I hope S. Jackson and Bulger along with the O-line get off to a fast start...Wish I had more confidence in our D.
GO RAMMS!!!!!!!!

Goodness ... that's a "tall order"!

Was not aware of such a trio in Detroit. Tough on 'jump ball'.

Re: Monday Night: Rams Secondary vs the Big 3
It's mostly about the D'line. If they can get some pressure on the quarterback, the corners can hang enough with those receivers. If not, as with San Diego, the receivers will be flying all over the place and it'll be a long night.

I'm hoping that the D line actually dosen't perform tonight. There's a reason for the madness, so the secondary gets tougher before opening day.

Its going to be tough going into the season with confidence if our DBs are getting toasted.

What about Detriots D ? We will kill them in a track meet.
Their receivers vs OURS I'll take ours
their QB vs OURS I'll take ours
their rbs vs ours I'll take ours
Not to mention the game is in a DOME !

Re: Monday Night: Rams Secondary vs the Big 3
They may have big receivers, but they are unproven and IMO thier O-line doesn't frighten me. I say we man handle them at the line of scrimage. Hopefully we will see some nice blitzing from uor D so Harrington will get rattled.:clanram:
