Monday Night vs the Seahawks Conflict

Based off what I am reading, it appears that the Cardinals will be hosting Game 5 of the World Series on Monday the 28th with the game starting at 7pm. That same night 7 blocks north the Rams will be hosting Seattle starting at 740pm. This bums me out as a Rams fan because even if the Rams win by 100 over Carolina I know that the dome is going to be half full since everybody will be so invested in the ever important game 5. (Yes, I know, if game 5 is necessary). The Rams deserve to have it loud in there, especially against Seattle

I just wish the leagues would work better with one another to avoid conflicts like this. We saw it earlier in the year with the O's and Ravens and the O's stubbornness forced the Ravens to open on the road.

Does anybody think I'm off base here?

You'd think there would be enough fans in Missouri to support both teams...

Yes, you're off base, because the Dodgers are going to be in the World Series, not the Cardinals! (and yes I saw the game tonight.)

That sucks big time. Just another reason to hate the Cardinals. N0 way they win that series if they didnt plunk Hanley.

Oh well, I'm off to Charlotte later today. Hopefulle we play well and deliver a W.

The fact that we even have to worry about something like this is relatively embarrassing.

St. Louis is a relatively small city, I think it would be a problem a number of places. Let's just hope the TIGERS sweep em, then its a moot point as the Rams try to win 4 in a row.

That one player wouldnt of made that much of a difference not to mention he still played most of the time. I could easily say if we had Allen Craig it would of been different too.

Oh, please. The St. Louis Cardinals virtually dominated the entire series. And 22-year-old Michael Wacha, in three postseason starts, has a minuscule 0.46 ERA. That team is the class of Major League Baseball. Our St. Louis Rams could take a lesson from the championship principles of the pro baseball team that's playing in the same city. That would be nice.

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves here don't you think. I'm thinking we should worry about winning 3 in a row before we move on to 4 in a row.

The population of London is 2 million more than the entire population of Missouri. Bring the Rams to the UK and that stadium will be full no matter what baseball game is on...

    Golfn Ram Fan,

Based on what I saw during my visit for the Jaguars game I would say your suspicion will come true. St Louis is certainly a baseball town and most of the people there are watching the Cards. Rams are secondary and possibly third to the Blues with the way they have been playing the last six years. Let's hope they turn it around though.

Just a Seahawks fan chiming in here, but the DVR is for baseball, IMO. Show up for the football game.

The diifference is we didnt plunk Craig.

And that was no where near a 100% healthy Hanley. If he's not plunked we win Game 1 and Game 2.

Whatever, onto the Rams....leaving for stadium now. Already saw a LOT of Rams fans in the queen city.

Its not like it happened on purpose you can tell by kelly's reaction.

There is no way for you to tell if you win game one and two if he is healthy anything could of happened. Not to mention we still could of won game 7 then and still beat you guys. If your blaming that one guy being injured as the reason they lost the entire series then maybe you should watch the series again.

The Rams did a little screwed with this setup because its a World Series match up and is going to be hard for Cardinals fans to miss. The Nfl should consider playoff schedules when they do their schedules.
