ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams backup quarterback A.J. Feeley has a small fracture in his right thumb, leaving his availability in doubt for next Monday's game at Seattle. Starter Sam Bradford's status is iffy, too.Offensive guard Jacob Bell has an even more significant injury from Sunday's loss at San Francisco with an ligament tear to his right knee. Coach Steve Spagnuolo says Bell could miss a month, meaning he'd miss the rest of the season.Spagnuolo said the team would probably know more about Feeley on Tuesday.Spagnuolo said Bradford had been willing to start but was held out because the team didn't want to risk further injury.

Spagnuolo revealed after Sunday’s game that the Rams were concerned that another setback to the ankle could lead to surgery for Bradford. That was a big part of the decision making process as Bradford wanted to play against San Francisco but the Rams staff made the decision to protect him.
“He’s not in the danger phase, at least that’s how the doctors and Reggie feel,” Spagnuolo said. “Last time it took three weeks; here it’s only been a week since he re-aggravated the injury. We have got to be careful. If it’s sore and it doesn’t feel good we want to be careful. Hopefully we can get past the soreness and get into more of where we were when we went into that Arizona game a month ago.”

Do we even have another left guard? This is just getting ridiculous. I feel like our team is the scrawny amateur and the other NFL teams are Mike Tyson.

I don't think he gets a backup. If he goes down Spags will just run the ball every down. Clearly the modern game doesn't require a QB.
