more on possible coach
Reported today by John Clayton (espn), that if Rivera is new coach, & he appears to be leading candidate, that Norv Turner has very good chance to be O-coordinator. They have ties being that Ron Turner is Norv's brother & currently coaching with the Bears.
Personally I would welcome both. Think Norv is one of those excellent Assistants / Coordinators that aren't as successful as the head man. Along the line of Dick LeBeau & Joe Bugel.
That being said, I'd still prefer Fisher. Think 3rd rounder or later is worth it.

I would welcome the combination of Rivera and Turner as additions to this organization.

No problem with that picture. Surprised Rivera got voted off in the HC game though, haven't seen much comment against him in any thread????

I agree, that line up of coachs looks good. Hope Tim Lewis of Giants is out of the picture. Just witnessed the Panthers shredding the Giants run defense and the biggest reason was poor tackling. Sound familiar ?

Re: more on possible coach
I only want Turner here as an OC if he will be more dedicated to running the football.
The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

I certainly would welcome him here if that were the case. He's done an excellent job in Kansas City, and you'd have to think he'd know how to utilize Steven Jackson considering what Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson have done there.

http://www.suntimes.com/output/bears/cst-spt-bear301.html"Martz did an unbelievable job of helping me become a head coach. I'm doing the same thing. I want to do it for Ron [Rivera] and Ron Turner. I want to see our position coaches move up to coordinator positions. That is the normal progression you make, and I will do all I possibly can to make that happen.''
