More turmoil at Rams Park--Coachs fighting
This is really getting old!!!
By Tim McKernan November 16, 2005
Once again, Rams Park was the site of a fight. Only this time, the two people involved weren't members of the team or members of the media.
The parties involved were members of the Rams coaching staff.
Rams Running Backs Coach Wilbert Montgomery got into an altercation with Offensive Coordinator Steve Fairchild this afternoon at Rams Park.
While some members of the team saw the fight, according to sources, Interim Head Coach Joe Vitt did not see it.
Martin Kilcoyne of Fox 2, and my partner on 590 The Fan's Morning Grind, worked with me this evening in confirming this story.
He will have more coming up on his sportscast on KTVI at 9:50.

COACHES FIGHT AT RAMS PARK
The feuding and fighting at Rams Park has typically been limited to Mike Martz and management. But Wednesday afternoon at the teams indoor facility, tensions were running high on the field.Fox-2 sports has learned. There was a physical altercation between offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild and running backs coach Wilbert Montgomery. The altercation wasn't seen by many people and interim head coach Joe Vitt wasn't even aware of the incident at the time. It's not clear what led to the fight.
All of this, On the day that a Sports Illustrated article started to circulate. An article that details the recent disharmony with the Rams. But the quote, that caught everyone's eye, was this from a current Ram. Following sunday's loss to Seattle. Ripping the defensive tackles. "We have three former number one picks at tackle and those guys are killing us. They're not playing hard and they can't stop anybody..it's horrible."

Geez, there is nothing good about this. Players fighting.....fine, they need to show a little fire. Coaches fighting..........nothing good about it.

In other news, Grady Dunston, the long-time janitor at Rams Park, was seen fighting over a parking space at the facility with Eunice Deltoro, an assistant cook in the dining hall. Sources indicated that this altercation is likely to have a hangover effect this Sunday against Arizona.

That's true. Just yesterday I had to separate HUbison and RamWraith in the Mod conference room when they got in a fight over who took the last jelly doughnut.

No...that title is currently a tie between Houston and the whiners, but the Rams are trying hard to get an honorable mention...why else would we have Marmie?
