I would say how about some fans showing up, but since the game will be played in Oakland (One of the worst teams in the league last year.) that still won't be a problem. If the game was in St.Louis you could all look forward to another blackout.

I'd have to say the first team defense shutting down the running. If they do, it's probably safe to say they are also tackling better.

Just some tackling would be an improvement. Hell stick somebody. We're all watching the linemen, including the backers and safeties. Just watching.

The last time I saw a linebacker in the frame it was still the twentieth century. I think sometimes that the cover-two killed us. The linebackers are always back on their heels and don't get to anticipate the run. Get up there at the line of attack and be in the play.

Those were my thoughts as well. If you can stop the run, you're probably making the tackles. But, I agree, all the above would be awesome!

    Go Rams!!!

I don't need anything spectacular, just fundamentally sound football. If that happens, the rest will take care of itself.

Agreed, I just don't want to see missed tackles, wide open receivers, things like that.

I'd also like to see Bartell have a good game. If he has a solid first half I'll feel much better about the first four games.

I sure hope the defense shows up. I mean were talking about the friggin Oakland Raiders.

I would really like to see the first team offense show up this week and not turn the ball over.

I so badly want to see an azz-kickin' of the Faiders tonight. But I especially want to see the offense get it going tonight. The defense should have little problem with the Faider offense.

Re: Most Important Improvement for Raiders Game?

    What's up rams' fans!

I'm not going to troll on my first post so give me some love.

I have a lot of things I want to say after reading some of the comments about the Raiders and the future of the rams over the past few days, but I'm going to keep them to myself for now.

I mostly wanted to point out how everybody up to this point has chosen every improvement choice on the poll except for "better coverage."

I'd say that's were they need the most improvement based only on tonights performance of course. They know how to stop the passing game except it always results in pass interference.

I know it's just the preseason but based on tonights performance I'd say you guys are in for a long season. The Raiders were 2-14 last year and they worked the rams on first team.

Anyways, it doesn't really matter until they start playing for real. I wouldn't start worrying too much yet, the Raiders were 4-1 in the preseason last year. I will tell you that I'm optimistic about the upcoming season for the Raiders because the Rams were supposed to be the real test of their offensive line considering who they have played up to this point.

    Good luck!
