Re: Most Legendary Feat A Rams Player Has Ever Accomplished
I wish you would have "other" as an option.
For trades, how about:
Scott Hunter hadn't worked out as the Packers' quarterback. Neither had Jim Del Gaizo, for whom Devine had been panicked into squandering two No. 2 draft picks to the Miami Dolphins in 1973. And Tagge, who finished 1974 with one touchdown pass and 10 interceptions, was a bust, too.
Enough was enough.
So on the morning of Oct. 22, 1974, a desperate Devine placed that call to Los Angeles.
And then he mortgaged a franchise's future, paying the staggering price of two No. 1 draft choices, two No. 2 picks and a No. 3 to the Rams for John Hadl.
I also think Fred Dryer's two unassisted safeties in one game against the Green Bay Packers (them again?) should also be listed. That record MIGHT be tied. It will never be broken.

Oh, and for "Legendary Feats", how about Bob Waterfield marrying Jane Russell?

One more, Deacon Jones' legendary head slap forces the NFL to outlaw the practice.

Re: Most Legendary Feat A Rams Player Has Ever Accomplished
I nominate Everett. Do you have any idea how much guts it takes to fall down into the fetal position when a defensive player would come within five yards of him (never touched him, just got close)? Not to mention his most macho moment when he tossed a table over when Jim Rome called him "Chris" Everett on national TV.

agreed, when he scored 26 tds in a season and had 1300+ and 1000+ yards each, that is just amazing

Re: Most Legendary Feat A Rams Player Has Ever Accomplished
I think the Rams biggest individual feat is Jim Benton's 303 receiving yards in one game, which occurred at a time when many receivers didn't gain that much yardage in a whole season.
First to Gain 300 Yards Receiving in a Game:
Jim Benton's 303 yards receiving vs. the Detroit Lions on 11/22/45, was a Rams and NFL first.
It is a crime that Jim Benton is not in the NFL Hall of Fame.

Re: Most Legendary Feat A Rams Player Has Ever Accomplished
I believe the 1000 - 1000 club includes TWO men....in the HISTORY of the game....and one of them is a RAM!!
Any list or poll of ' legendary Ram feats' which doesnt include this achievement is a joke.

Hope you had a good laugh, then. The problem is easily fixed, though.

Re: Most Legendary Feat A Rams Player Has Ever Accomplished
I'd have to say Youngblood's feat qualifies as the stuff of legend. You quote a stat to a fan of another team, and they'll fire one back at you, but a guy playing on a broken leg is the kind of story people don't forget. The GSOT years will go down in history, too, but it won't be any single feat or statistic that makes it special but rather a combination of them all.

I'm gonna have to go with Faulk here, the numbers he posted, the way he played, truly unstoppable in his prime, Faulk is the man!

SO MANY GOOD CHOICES!! but I'm gonna go with Kurt Warner 4000 yds and 41 TDs.... my second choice would be Youngblood.
