Well, I'm thinking someone who's been with the team for a while; Faulk or Bruce.
IMO, it was probably taken out of context as is usually the case. I know the players were very frustrated after the game and people tend to say things. I know I was!:clanram:

    Re: Mr. Disgruntled Veteran is...

If this is true, then someone has finally said "out in the open" what many Clan Ram members have been thinking, what many (I hate to say it) writers have been intimating, and what the RAM Brain Trust must have been thinking as well. Maybe it had to be said by a player!

I am OK with Pickett, he is still very young. I am also not ready to write off Kennedy yet. I still gotta think that the RAMs have frightfully little to show for 3 first round picks. I would have expected at least ONE dominant force between the three. Maybe it's a "system thing"....LOL (aka LordoftheLambs)

Survey Says....the Rev said it... (he must be very frustrated toward the end of his career and was thinking what might or could have been).

He has played REALLY well this season. The interior line is producing as they should, but half the time; the LB's arent on the field to back them up...Thanks a lot Marmie.

I really think it was an offensive player that said this. Most defensive guys stick together. I wouldnt be suprised if Bruce or Faulk said something like this. I mean I agree with the statment, although I think the guy could have just said our defense sucks they are killing us because its not just the d-line.

    Re: Mr. Disgruntled Veteran is...

IF it really happenned, and IF the reporting was half-a$$ed accuate, then my money is on a player who fits the following profile:
    1. Long-time Ram, at least five years.
    2. A player who gives 110% at all times.
    3. Someone who is 100% Ram, wanting to remain a Ram when they retire.
    4. Someone who is normally quiet, not dissing other players, and has a really good reputation.

    Let's look at long-time Rams:
    Timmerman
    Tyoka Jackson
    Jamie Martin
    Bruce
    Faulk
    McCollum
    Pace
    Looker
    Holt
    Bulger
    Little
    Manu
    Wilkins

Take away those whose own performance has been below par at times, and you have:
    Timmerman
    Bruce
    Faulk
    Pace
    Holt
    Wilkins

Take away those who are not 100% Blue and Gold, and you still have:
    Timmerman
    Bruce
    Faulk
    Pace
    Holt
    Wilkins

Figure in those who do not fit in #4, and you have:
    Timmerman
    Bruce
    Faulk
    Pace
    Holt
    Wilkins

Gotta be one of these guys if it did happen....

First guess: Silver made it up........I have little to no faith in most reporters (I use that word loosely), especially San Francisco based reporters, doubling as niner fans, reporting on the Rams.

Second guess: If this did happen as reported.....it's Faulk.

    Re: Mr. Disgruntled Veteran is...

It's Torry Holt. He made several comments, on the record, in the off-season, about how the Rams signed New LBs and the '05 Rams will go as far as the DEF line takes them. He was not critical but he said the Rams will go as the DEF Line goes..

He was probably pissed off after dropping a couple big ones, and then having to watch helplessly as the Seahawks ran roughshod over our DEF.

Coincidentially, ESPN highlighted how bad our DEF line played against the RUN before this stuff was published.

    It's Torry Holt.
If Holt said this, after the drops he had, he needs to get kicked in the face by a rabid mule.
