You know, how much do guys like Joe Montana have to give back to the game after all they have given already?
I'm sorry, but Montana and Bradshaw both are still emersed in making money off of their NFL celebrity. Not to mention, Joe Namath, Bart Starr, Larry Czonka, etc. all found the time and desire to make it to what was actually an important event. It's not like Montana or Bradshaw are reclusive and hate doing these things. That's the problem, they were in Detroit all week long but when it came to "giving" something to the NFL, it was "payday or the highway".

    Classless move by both.

Actually Bradshaw was on Jay Leno and he said that he never goes to Super Bowl games unless he's working on Fox. Bradshaw also called Rooney the owner before and explained that he never goes to the games, and said it wasn't personal against the NFL or the Steelers, Rooney said no problem.
