My all time favorite Rams Players...

By position

They are not the best to ever play for the team, but i liked them the best.

WR- Ron Brown- Never seen anyone faster in pads. Darrell Green will tell ya.
LT- Orlando Pace- I'm from Ohio, so what can i say. but has underachieved.
LG- Tom Newberry- the way he played against LT in 90 PO VS NYG, wow!
C- Bern Brostek- nice guy who was slowed by injuries.
RG- Dennis Harrah- with Kent Hill running a close 2nd.
RT- Jackie Slater- what else can you say?
TE- Tony Hunter- great 1st season w/rams, then career ended b/c of injury.
WR- Flipper Anderson- a big play machine.
QB- Vince Ferragamo- traded to bills for Hunter.
RB- Eric Dickerson- The original "freak". But he fumbled to much.
FB- Cullen Bryant- even came back in 87 and played during strike.
K- Mike Lansford- Made a ton of clutch kicks during my childhood.

CB- Gary Green- A solid cover man.
LB- Kevin Greene- an animal!!!!
DE- Leonard Little- "Freak" part 2
DT- Jack Youngblood- played with a bronken leg in super bowl.
LB- Hacksaw Reynolds- hacksawing his old ladys car in half was enough.
DT-Sean Gilbert- built like tarzan, played like jane.
DE- Fred Dryer- "Hunter" was non-stop.
LB-Mike Wilcher- A solid all around LB.
CB- Jerry Gray- never got credit because he always had to cover J. Rice.
SS- Toby Wright- Lights out when he smacked ya.
FS- Nolan Cromwell- ultimate team player and a good coach now.
P- Dale Hatcher- looked like a measuring stick his rookie year, then zip.

Page Ranking- Henry Ellard- was a pin ball in the open field.
KR- Ron Brown- See WR above.
LS- Mike McDonald- met him in cleveland and he bought me a beer.

I'm kinnda bored what can i say. but i thought i would put this out there and see what everyone thought.

Dave

Underachieved? Not sure what you mean by that.

I'm guessing DT was a typo, as he was one of the best DE's to ever play, and is my all time favorite player. He is the true definition of a man. :l

Nice call, I hope Chavous can bring that kind of toughness.

Unfortunately he's with the enemy.

Yes he was.

I'll never forget the playoff game vs NY.

He may have fumbled a lot, but how many backs can you count on converting on a 3rd a 10?

Re: My all time favorite Rams Players...

i'm sorry, i meant DE for youngblood. And Merlin Olsen at DT. Take Little out.

And Pace has underachieved IMO. He could be better than he is.

I realize this was not a "best ever" only a "my favorite" list, but one of the glaring omissions, for me, was Olsen. Good to see that was corrected...lol

Agreed.. not worth the money he is getting, but good enough we can't let him go to another team.

GO RAMS!!
