WR: Isaac Bruce - K
OT: Orlando Pace - K
OT: Blaine Sapaia - P

I agree more with Rampete
Good job both of you, I agree more with Avenger more than Rampete but that may be a bit of post blowout skepticism. Avenger shows go for OL twice early and LB twice early in FA or draft. I agree but I go OL, DD in draft and LB, KR in free agency.

Well, technically, he's not a starter. Certainly, Curtis and McDonald are keepers as the #3 and #4 WR.

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
I agree with Avenger, but I would like to keep Polley and Thomas as backups and use them on Special teams, we need to upgrade both units and add some depth.

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
I would scrap every S we have, Archuleta included. His back is becoming an issue, and he couldn't cover me in a pass route.
O line - tag Pace and trade him if he won't sign a long term contract. Timmerman is getting up there, and Saipia, Turner and Tercero are backups. Drafting an O lineman is a priority.
LB's - Pisa should be the only one kept. Need to go after a MLB in FA. That should be this teams top priority in 2005 FA shopping.

Wow, quite the firesale you got going there Tx. "Come on down to Crazy Tx's where all inventory must go. Our prices are so low, you'll say we're craaaaaazy. That's Crazy Tx's on the corner of Broadway and Tecumsah in front of the Hardee's. Take exit 34 to the frontage road." I don't know why I typed that. I just had this picture of Tx in a big cowboy hat doing a commercial for a car lot or something. Well anyway back to topic. I wouldn't scrap Arch just yet. If his back can fix itself and he gets back to where he was, he is a top SS. But as we all know, a back injury can be a career threatener.
Marc Bulger may disagree with me, but I think LB is a bigger need than OL. Not that OL isn't huge, it is. But we can't function with our current LB corp. Polley will get overpaid and will be gone. Thomas just isn't making headway in his development. He looks tentative and almost "shy". You can't work with that kind of LB'ing. Don't cut him, but we have to bring in someone who is going to legitimately compete for that ILB spot.

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
They relly need a true MLB via free agency. They should move Thomas to the outside and use his speed as a pass rusher.

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
I would say the lack of depth at LB was one reason the ST was so bad!Maybe Thomas and Polley could stay on ST.Probably to much money to pay back ups for ST!

I'd even like to scrap Butler and Fisher but too much salary cap stuff on the offense again forces the defense to keep personnel they shouldn't.

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
Good posts, all!! My question is what is the consensus opinion on the performance turned in by B. Sapaia? I tried to watch him when the cameras would allow and did not think he was playing all that poorly. Does anyone think that with a full trainig camp this guy can develop into a legitimate starter?
WHAT SAY YE?

Re: My "Day After" Starting Roster Review
I think Sapaia has some potential, but I wonder if he'd be better suited playing inside. Either way, I think that the Rams can find a more talented player than him.
