My exclusive interview with Jeff Fisher

Thanks to a certain Clan member who is related to Jeff Fisher, I was able to get the coach’s home phone number.

Here is the transcript of my exclusive interview with the coach:

JF: “Hello?”

Av: “Coach Fisher… its AvengerRam from ClanRam.com… can you chat?”

JF: “Sure, Av. Anything for you.”

Av: “Great. So, the question on all Ram and Dolphin fans’ minds is… where are you coaching next year?

JF: “Well, its perfectly simple. All I have to do is deduce which would be the better job. Now, a clever man would take the second offer, as only a great fool would take the first offer placed in front of him. So, I clearly cannot choose the team that made the first offer.”

Av: “So you’ve made your decision then?”

JF: “Not remotely. Because everyone knows that the Dolphins play in Miami, and Miami is inhabited by criminals who cannot be trusted. So I clearly cannot choose the team from Miami.”

Av: “You’ve clearly gone through a dizzying analysis.”

JF: “Wait till I get going! Now, where was I…”

Av: “Miami.”

JF: “Right! So, clearly I knew what Miami was like when I interviewed there, so there would have been no point in meeting with the Dolphins if I had already decided on St. Louis, so clearly I cannot choose the team from St. Louis.”

Av: “You’re just stalling now.”

JF: “You’d like to think that, wouldn’t you! Now, the Rams beat the Saints this year, so that shows they have potential. But, the Dolphins improved as the season wore on, so that shows they’re on the rise…”

Av: “You’re trying to trick me into telling you which team you should choose. It won’t work.”

JF: “It has worked! You’ve told me everything! I know which team I should choose!”

Av: “Then tell me your decision.”

JF: “I choose #######” (phone goes to static)

Av: “What? I didn’t hear that.”

JF: “Never mind… what do you think of my decision?”

Av: “I’m sorry, but you didn’t reveal anything.”

JF: “You like to think that, don't you? I made the phone inaudible when I said the name of the team! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous being don't get involved in a ground game battle against the Steelers, and only slightly less famous, don't try to call Jeff Fisher when a scoop is on the line! Hahahahahahahaha!” (hangs up phone)

And so, the wait continues….
