Since realignment, Seattle is something like 20-9 at home. I'm not sure I'd call one loss for every two wins as being rare. In fact, it probably means they're overdue for a loss this season.

Re: My gut feeling on the playoffs

I would have to agree that there is no guarenteed win for Seattle, especially against the Rams. However, I think this is a huge game. If the Rams lose their fifth game, I can't see them beating enough NFC south and east teams to get a wild card, and it would be difficult to catch seattle at 7-2 with a 4-5 record.

Re: My gut feeling on the playoffs

If the Rams defense doesn't improve from it's current ranking of 31, playoffs are a non-factor.

well, the word "since" in this sentence means "after". so, it means after the 02 season we are 17-3 at home,

Re: My gut feeling on the playoffs

The Seahawks haven't lost at home this year.

On Sunday, that means diddly.

The Rams have won their past 2 at Seattle.

On Sunday, that means diddly.

Not that it matters, but just for the record:

Re: My gut feeling on the playoffs

From then until now wouldn't include 02'.

From Dictionary.com
Since;
1) After some point in the past; at a subsequent time:
2) From then until now or between then and now:
3) After some point in the past; at a subsequent time:

That coupled with the fact that their record "since" 2002' is in fact 17-3 should settle it. lol
