My New Year's Resolution (6 months late)
I have come to realize that I am as guilty as many of falling into a trap. It goes something like this...
STEP 1: Blogger/Columnist writes "article" consisting of 2-3% facts an 97-98% speculation.
STEP 2: Forum posters (myself included) copy article here to serve the desire of having some form of "news" during this relatively dead time of the year.
STEP 3: The substance of the "article," which is almost certainly either sensationalized or outright fabricated, is debated until the next non-newsworthy "article" hits the board.
My resolution: I'm done with this.
From this point forward, I will make my best effort to ignore these non-issues.
No more talk about Vick, unless facts actually emerge.
No more talk about who will buy the team and where it will play, unless facts actually emerge.
I'm breaking the cycle!
Who will join me?
Re: My New Year's Resolution (6 months late)
I'd love to join you Av, unfortunately I'm way too impulsive and opinionated to stay away from a lot of these discussions. I'll be better once the regular season starts.:D
Re: My New Year's Resolution (6 months late)
Not me this time Avenger, these non-issues are interesting to think about. It is the off-season for us. No football to watch.
Re: My New Year's Resolution (6 months late)
Sorry Avenger, I think I need a 12 step program or something.
Man, addictions are a mother aren't they?:D
WHAT SAY YE?
