My Rant From Attending The Game
I can deal with our team not winning the game - take away any one of those turnovers and we win.
What I cannot deal with is the lethargic fans that sit in the lower sections of the Edward Jones Dome during a game. Not all of the fans are guilty, but about half of them seem the be glued in the seat. Is there a sale on Valium at the concession stand that I didn't know about?
I even had one get the energy to tug on my jersey from behind and inform me that they only stand and yell on third down? I actually sat for two downs because I was floored by this way of thinking.
I stood and yelled for every defensive play following that. The guys need noise from the crowd to cause false starts for the opponents. A couple of false starts could have made a huge difference in the game. For those of you that left your arses planted in the seat like you were playing bingo, give your tickets to someone with a pulse. To the people I have described, you sicken me! I don't expect you to paint your face and wear a watermelon on your head - just show some life.
The other group of people that sickened me were the people that started leaving with around 3 minutes left. You people sicken me, as well.
The Chiefs have a loud stadium every year - win or lose. That is one thing that needs to learned from the team from across the state of Missouri. The PGA Open here in Tulsa had louder golf claps than many of those at the EJD on Sunday.
Incidentally, I was thoroughly disgusted with the first group of fans before the first quarter ended. If you sat in Section 115, or a surronding section on Sunday, get off of your arses and support you team!

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
I was in section 440 and they were pretty loud. Kudos to them; man my throat is sore.
There did seem to be a lot of empty seats mid way through the 4th. Must have been all of the fans who showed up in their Cardinal gear just to pass the time before the baseball game.JUST WIN ONE FOR THE FANS

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
I was loud, so was most of my section in the upper reaches. That game was alot of fun to watch. Aside from what has already been mentioned (people leaving the game that close to the end when it was that close of a game?!) I was also rather annoyed by the large sections of ***** fans around me.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
Let me tell you.... I sat in section I believe 115 as well honestly I forgot and lost my ticket but it was on the 35 yard line of the rams side. I was in the very very front row with 4 of my cousins, we normally sit in the upper deck in section 422. Anyways we stood up most of the game and where told to sit down many times because the people 2 rows behind us couldnt see the crucial play on 3rd and 9... My cousin would turn around and say NO its 3rd down.. After that he would stand up most defensive plays and tell them to stand up... all he got was stares. Seriously the lower bowl fans are a joke. The two girls behind us kept talking about how wanted to shop at holister after game and get new pink flip flops.
Seriously it's so retarded... and if you guys ever wanna see real tailgating go where we go. off of 6th and pine.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
Section 115 is inline with the Rams sideline in the endzone. You had better tickets than me! However, what you describe is common with the lower level, I believe.
Too bad we didn't know about your tailgate - several of us walked around some of the tailgating sections to pass out ClanRam cards (actually, BRM was passing out the cards).
I'm going to Dallas in two weeks and I will still yell for my Rams.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Sad, very sad, nice to know some of you"real" fans still cheered on our team, despite the pathetic people around you.

Actually, those fans that left, not unlike myself, quit when Mark Bulger turned his switch off. That's two games in a row Bulger takes a knee. Alligator armed little turd.
Patient, not saintly.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
I don't know why you are bashing Bulger... He is about the only guy on offense who is really putting forth all he has. He has been nothing but a warrior these last two weeks, taking hits on almost every pass play.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
A lot of fans at the dome are pathetic. I've had them lodge complaints against me for standing up and then I'd get approached by somebody telling me to sit down or I'd be escorted out of the building.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
Yeah man, for a real experience you have to sit in the upper deck with the rest of the drunks like me. Stories like this are numerous and just go to show that while there are passionate football fans in STL, few of them are in the lower deck.
I partially blame management for the poor fanfare there. We need to find a way to get these people out of the dome and make season tickets accessable to more fans. Charging $1500 for a PSL and season tickets is ridiculas. KC doesn't have PSLs.
Oh yeah, and WE ALSO NEED TO FIND A WAY TO WIN SO PEOPLE CAN CHEER FOR SOMETHING.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
Me and my buddies along with some cool older guy owned section 420, we kept the crowd goin throughout. I was very disappointed to see fans leaving when the game wasn't decided, but what can you do? I just yelled louder.

Re: My Rant From Attending The Game
I have my season tickets in the upper section and there is a hugh difference, the upper level fans yell, stand on every 3rd down and other big plays, high five each other on good plays and just have a good time,I always thought the lower seats would be better but having sat there once I wouldn't trade by upper seats, you can see the entire fiield and watch each play and also watch Isaac get open on every pass play,(you know he really is open on every play),and you have a good view of the cheerleaders(very important also).so if you want to have a good time sit in the upper level.
