Last MNF game Gruden brought up an interesting stat. He compared Bradford's contract to Russell Wilson's and what the money difference equated to in impact players starting on Seattle's roster. I think it was 6 impact starters.

I do not know the facts about the specific contract and the money etc as a disclaimer here.
In the same sentence, they also mentioned that they will have a difficult time keeping all of the big players that they have. They all won't be on the same team once it comes time to reconstruct the contracts. Russell Wilson will get his payday probably as much as Bradford, and then he will become a bust..

At least he will have earned his payday, said Seahawk nation.

No chance whatsoever that he'll be let go.

You're absolutely right. And I absolutely agree.

I had to look up Jared Cooks contract, to see if there was any chance of him being let go again, after showing he wasn't really the difference maker Rams-fans hoped he would be on offence. However cutting him for next season would result in a massive cap hit, så he will be back. I guess that is okay, because maybe he just needs a second season in this offence, but really he seems to be only our second best TE, with no blocking skills on a run-first team.

Cook is on pace for 57 receptions, 731 yards, and 5 TDs. When was the last time the Rams had that kind of production from a TE?

---ding--- What is 1988, Pete Holohan, 59/640/3?

I'll take Potpourri for $600, Alex.

When was the last time the Rams paid a TE 35 million dollars over 5 years?

I don't see how there's no chance. His salary explodes next year and he's honestly not playing up to par with the amount he is due. I know he's been one of the few bright spots of the past half decade, but he needs to play much better down the stretch. Not to mention, we have to pay Quinn soon.

If you can see Finnegan getting cut after this year, how can you not see even a possibility of Long getting cut. Finnegan is Fisher's guy.

I can understand you strongly believing he won't be let go, but when you add it all up there's definately a chance.

If the Rams were overly concerned about that, there'd be no Sam Bradford.

We could still trade him for RG3-6 who'll come cheap if he keeps on choking like he did vs Minn . Positively Clemens-esque.

PS edit: At the moment, it's actually RG3-5. Hopefully Philly will take care of that.

PPS edit: Oops....they just updated the standings.....Yup, I thought he looked like a 3-6 QB. Wins are all that counts, right ?

Because I hope the Redskins lose all of their remaining games, you won't bait me into an RG3 debate. We both know he's a pro-bowl caliber talent despite Washington's record.

Name one guy that will not be back on the team in 2014. One name per person, let's see how far we get. -- GC
Since the request does not mention for the player to be part of the 2013 team, my guess for the guy that will not be back on the team next year is...

    Richie Incognito.

Sorry GC, just kidding. My first thought was Pead of course.
