Re: Negotiations To Return Spoon To Panthers

Guys- be nice. We have Spoon, and the Panthers miss him. We got the best end of the deal here. So, really, in the spirit of friendship, I have an idea:

One of the janitors at the EJD was unclogging a toilet, and found a book plugging the line. The book, titled "Defensive Mastery: Strategy and Tackling" was authored by someone with the initials "L.M." and co-authored by someone named "Adam". The book is filled with all sorts of novel defensive schemes. How about sending this book to the Panthers?

(BTW, this offer has NO connection to how upset I still am about our playoff loss to the Panthers a few years ago....)

I'll even throw in, at no charge, all the other crap the janitor found in the same sewer line as the book! What a compensatory deal! All it will cost is $19.95 for shipping and handling!

Come on, guys, can't we give something back to the Panthers?

That was an incredible game Sam, one of the most exciting games that I have ever watched, and it was a very difficult loss for me and for the Rams for sure.

I do like having Spoon on our team now.

Hey, I can't feel too sorry for the Panthers. They took D-Lew and are actually getting some production out of him.

    '05 D-Lew: 16 games, 1 sack, 1 PD, 0 FF
    '06 D-Lew: 4 games, 2 sacks, 2 PDs, 1 FF

man, I dont blame you. He has been on fire the last couple of games and really stepped up as injuries have taken toll on the Rams.
