New Outdoor Stadium by 2015 ?
I was listening to Bernie Miklasz's show on the internet , and he believes that a new outdoor stadium will be built by 2015 or sooner. The Rams and the CVC agreed in their contract that the dome has to be in the top echelons of stadiums of that date. He doesn't believe that the Rams will leave, but that the stadium became obsolete after the grand opening in November 1995. He also said that Stan Kroenke will take over the franchise as soon as Georgia retires and push for the new outdoor stadium proposal.

Football belongs outdoors. Always has been. Let the teams in the AFL play indoors.

I like the dome, it's cool and all, but an outdoors stadium would be REALLY cool, especially at night, that'd be great. I'm not a wiz by any means when it comes to the general management of the team, so...who is Stan Kroenke?

Always and Forever a fan of the St. Louis Rams

Stan is part owner of the Rams. He also owns the Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Avalanche. Here is the wiki info on Stan for you Varg.

An outdoor stadium with a retactible roof, like Houston has, would be great.

It it would mean a grass field I'd be all for it. I hate watching those rubber pellets fly up when they play on field turf.
And you thought Mike Martz was "mad"!

You think attendance and the home crowd is bad now, just wait til they play outdoors and it's 30 degrees outside...

Re: New Outdoor Stadium by 2015 ?
thats a good point about the Cardinals playing outdoors, but things are different now, you will be asking people who are used to plopping there a** in an air conditioned dome when its hot out and a nice warm dome when it's cold out.now you and I and the rest of the clan members will go no matter what the weather is but will the so called fans who are used to the dome ? I'm not so sure unless the Rams are winning every game, they must put a retractable roof on a new stadium, but i also think every new outdoor stadium should have one.

Every city has its fair share of "so-called fans". Yes, even the great NFL city Green Bay, Wisconsin. This isn't new. I'm against domes, BTW. Football is meant to be played outdoors.

'Zona's new stadium looked great from what I saw on 'Extreme Engineering' (or whatever show it was).
Here's what they need - a retractable roof, roll-out field (or retractable cover) and a neo-classical art deco design. Tear down the old stockyards in National City or something...that'll be big enough.Super Bowl Champions 2013!
