I'd have to say that Dominique Byrd is gone. Did he even play for us?

As you said, that could be a 'maybe' but I seriously doubt Leonard will become a FB with the Rams though he may at times be used as such on specially designed plays.
I would still like to see big Mad Madison as our main FB specialist. I wouldn't expect for him to be gone at all (true, one never knows for sure). In fact, I believe he is now more of a weapon with Jackson and Leonard as 1-2 RBs.

I would say Butler, but considering what camp has done to our secondary in the past, I wouldnt at all be surprised to see him in August.

Re: With the new rookie class set, which veteran is most likely gone?
I may be wrong, but I think Hedge is safe, even with the Leonard pick. Leonard is only a FB in name. He was a RB for three years, but Ray Rice's talent required a switch. Leonard is not (best used as) a lead blocker. There are so many things he does better on the field than lead blocking.
Hedge, OTOH, is a pure lead blocker. He's a lineman starting 5 yards deep, that's all. They're two different players, and the space that Leonard takes belongs to Byrd, not Hedge, IMO."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

And that's why I support Hedgecock!
See post #19.
Mad Masdison has become an integral part of the Rams running game. Our main FB. :r
