I'd have to say that Dominique Byrd is gone. Did he even play for us?

As you said, that could be a 'maybe' but I seriously doubt Leonard will become a FB with the Rams though he may at times be used as such on specially designed plays.

I would still like to see big Mad Madison as our main FB specialist. I wouldn't expect for him to be gone at all (true, one never knows for sure). In fact, I believe he is now more of a weapon with Jackson and Leonard as 1-2 RBs.

I would say Butler, but considering what camp has done to our secondary in the past, I wouldnt at all be surprised to see him in August.

I may be wrong, but I think Hedge is safe, even with the Leonard pick. Leonard is only a FB in name. He was a RB for three years, but Ray Rice's talent required a switch. Leonard is not (best used as) a lead blocker. There are so many things he does better on the field than lead blocking.

Hedge, OTOH, is a pure lead blocker. He's a lineman starting 5 yards deep, that's all. They're two different players, and the space that Leonard takes belongs to Byrd, not Hedge, IMO.

Good points. Also, when the Rams use Leonard in short yardage situations as a tailback, who lead blocks for him? Hedge.

And that's why I support Hedgecock! See post #19.

Mad Masdison has become an integral part of the Rams running game. Our main FB. :r
