The announcers can sometimes make or break a game.

I get all the Rams games sent to me on DVD from the godsend that is Pontel. Granted, it costs about 9-10 a game and I don't usually get them until the Thursday/Friday after the game, but I still get to see every Rams game eventually

The Pontel thing would be a good solution if it's possible to make season suscription.

But I say we should try the BitTorrent thing. It's quite faster than delivering the videos, and of course, cheaper.

Wouldn't it be illegal to record the games for personal use?

If you were to do it you could only send it out via PM.

I only get to see rams games every once in a while.

We don't have direct TV so they show everything on the east side of green bay on local cable.

The only games I see are on ESPN and when the east coast teams play the rams.

I heard Sky are going to have a flexible schedule so even if they name the games they are goin to show on Sundays they can change them to games that have playoff implications, which is better than some of the games we saw in the last few weeks of the season last year,I think they showed a cards game late in the season, lol

Has anyone considered using a slingbox? This would allow others to watchthe game on their PCs, cell phones, etc. That is, if any of our Ram bretheren have a Slingbox. (www.slingbox.com)
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Yeh, but those overseas would have to have someone here in the the States provide the signal for them (not to mention the appropriate channel selections and your willingness to allow them to control your TV).

I think that it could be setup on any TV, leaving other TVs in the house available for other viewing choices. I believe it also digitally records programming. I'd have to look into it further. I think the computer control that might be needed could be the issue. Still, this might work for others in Clanram that don't have access to local STL stations or the NFL programming.

It's not too bad on Fox Sports World. We get a rendition of Sky Sports and FSW pushes the EPL.

Re: NFL ticket in england-help please from over the pond

Does anyone have experience with SlingBox? I was wondering if more than 1 person could watch TV from the same SlingBox or not?

If it would actually work like that, I for one would gladly chip in with some $$$ to allow someone in the US with access to Rams games to buy a SlingBox and set it up so the rest of us can watch on our computers!

EDIT: Hmm from reading on their website it has become clear that only 1 person can be connected at any time to a SlingBox...now that complicates things.
