No Excuses: 10 Things The Rams Must Do
There are certain things that are a must for the Rams if they are going to be successful this year. If they fail to do these things, there will be no excuse in my mind:
1. The Rams MUST sweep Arizona and San Francisco.
2. Marc Bulger MUST have at worst a 1.5 to 1.0 TD to interception ratio.
3. Mike Martz MUST do a better job of managing the clock.
4. The RDEs MUST register at least 8 sacks combined.
5. The team MUST have a positive turnover ratio.
6. The punt returners MUST catch the ball!
7. The kick coverage teams MUST prevent big returns.
8. Steven Jackson MUST be given a significant role.
9. The offense MUST take advantage of Curtis and McDonald's speed.
10. The defense MUST find a way to contain opposing running games.
I believe the Rams can do all of these things.
They must.

11. Bulger must learn to handle the blitz. Which will dictate his int/td ratio.
If not he will have a tough season, and so will the Rams.

I agree that it can be done. I also do not believe that your 10 must do's are asking the rams to over achieve I think they are very realistic and with fundamentally sound football should be achieved by default.
