    No Jackson = No Win

Like I've said before, and for some reason was rediculed and belittled, we cannot win a game without Steven Jackson. Without anyone to keep the defense honest, Marc Bulger will get hammered all day. No Jackson, No Win. Simple as that.

Yeah, unfortunately, I think you're right.

...and the worse thing about it is that Jackson is not very durable. A nick here, a tweak there.... seems to be his M.O.

There were a few running plays today that I though Jackson would have busted open. Also, there were a few that Pittman took the wrong route. But I understand it is easier to see the hole from the TV angles.

Anyway, a few hits on Bulger today and he seemed to really regress and get that "edgy" look. If I were playing the Rams, I'd send the house against him all game. The rookie recievers are not on the same page when a blitz is coming, and Bulger throws the ball to an open blade of grass more often than not.

Although I thought Pittman did a nice job, Stephen Jackson is just in another class.

Exactly. Pittman stepped in and did a decent job.

But Jackson is our best player hands down.

I would rather have him sit this week and be 100% next week. We need it next week.
