No more tap dancing. Today proved that the Rams were right about Warner.
Did Kurt Warner play a bad game today? No.
Is he through? No.
But one conclusion is inescapable after today.
RIGHT NOW he's NOT better than Marc Bulger.
Given, this fact, the only conclusion that can be reached is that the Rams made the right decision in choosing Bulger over Warner.
1. Bulger is younger.
2. Bulger is playing for less $.
What's difficult abut this issue?
Given the choice of two players of comparable ability, a team will ALWAYS choose the younger, cheaper player.
I would have preferred it if Warner had never had the concussions, never had the hand problems, and never lost the "magic" he possessed in 99-01. But, alas, that run was destined to be short lived.
Marc Bulger is the Rams QB because he was the right choice for the job.
End of story.

Maybe you should too.
I don't disagree with your post, but the only epiphany I came to in this game was that the Rams, niiners, and Cardinals are all about in the same bucket of mediocrity.
One false start away from Warner and co. winning this one.

The rams dont need to prove crap and neither does Warner he already has. Both sides have departed from the issue. The fans want to keep it alive because it gives us all something to type about. I bought into it but Im over it. Warner showed class after the game signing a million autographs and really just being the man Warner always is. He is a likeable person and that is what the draw is. Bulger Warner ? Debate ? Its football its buisness, it happens, move on.
