eauclare - will become famous soon enough
No Saunders, then what?

Zampese has decided to stay with the Bengals. The options for the Rams are very limited and I'm sure Saunders knows this and is using it to his advantage.

Re: No Saunders, then what?

Sources?

I'm sure, if this were true, Saunders would have some great leverage, but I'm of the school of thought that everyone has their price. I think, if, somehow, Saunders' deal falls through, Zampese wouldn't be closed off to the chance to a) gain a promotion, run his own offense, and call his own plays, and b) earn much more money.

Re: No Saunders, then what?

If Saunders doesn't come here- then we're hiring a FOSL and it won't be his fault becuase they've given the impression that they've actually persued viable canidates and couldn't land them- it will infuriate the people that hate Linehan and the Linehan apologists will use it as an excuse that he tried.

If he's basing this on the recent article from the Cincinnati Enquirer, all it says is that the Bengals will probably have Zampese back and could get Jackson back. They draw that conclusion because... the Rams are now heavily pursuing for Al Saunders. So it doesn't sound like any breaking news, again if that's the source that's being drawn from.

Re: No Saunders, then what?

Well, I have some plays from my nerf football days that Linehan could use. At least they went downfield instead of sideways.
