Updating previous reports, St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz was advised by his doctors that it would be in his best interest not to return to the Rams in 2005 because it could be hazardous to his health. Martz said he plans to resume coaching the team in 2006.

St. Louis Rams LG Claude Terrell (sprained neck) was hospitalized Sunday, Oct. 23, for observation. He has been released from the hospital, but his sprained neck has him questionable to play during Week 8.
