    Nothing Has Changed!

    Eight months.

Eight months of watching the free agent market. Hoping. Replacing assistant coaches. Hoping. Scouting the draft. Hoping. Making the draft choices. Hoping. Watching camp. Hoping. Agonizing through preseason. Hoping. Anticipaing opening day. Hoping.

And in the end, nothing has changed.

    Still can't stop the run.

Still can't consistently pressure the QB.

Still giving receivers too much space.

    O line still too inconsistent.

Orlando and Pisa get hurt again.

Failed efforts in the red zone.

    Bad playcalling.

Well, I'm through giving this team the benefit of false hope. They're going to have to show me something before I allow myself to buy into the notion that they have improved. I'm not making any more predictions. I'm not picking any more games. I'm going to sit back and watch this team with an objective eye. Either they show me something, or I will accept that which seems all too apparent right now.

Its going to be a long season.

The special teams look better, but that's just about all the improvement I'm seeing.

This team is way worse than last year, Way worse. It's obvious that it's the coaching on Defense, the past few years and not the players. Damion Lewis is playing pretty good. I know we could use him.

ST looked great, Hall all but took it to the house.

AC out played him in his first game.

Once again the only defensive player I have any confidence in is Little. Carriker looks like he will be good but he has a lot of learning to do. Hall looks terrible. Now I know why Detroit got rid of him.

I would be surprised if they win 5 games if Pace is out for an extended period of time. We are looking like warmed over crap for the 6th year in a row..

We are in for a long season. As I look at the schedule I wonder which team will feel sorry for our moronic coach and cut us some slack. Same sorry @#$#% Rams.
I still love 'em but right now I hate 'em worse.

Look at this sorry pity party...

After one bad game, you guys are ready to throw in the towel for the whole season.

One game does not a season make.

You are correct Avenger... it was ugly. Bad start to the season.

Dante Hall was my only surprise player.

No, but didn't you expect to see something out of this team? The stat sheet is downright embarrassing.

    Re: Nothing Has Changed!

The strength of our team is Steven Jackson, and he fumbled which basically lost the game for us. Had he not, we were looking at being up 20-7 which would have resulted in us winning the game given the reversal of scores. Obviously he fumbled, we lost, and that's the way the NFL goes. He will win many more games for us in the future, just not today. Hopefully Pace will be back soon and we can rebound. It just sucks to let one slip away. And I hate the Panthers.

Hopefully next week they turn it around and win. Last year we had trouble against the Panthers also

    Re: Nothing Has Changed!

defense hung in there for awhile, the offense is limp, didn't help. Bulger is not showing leadership with a Ho-Hum attitude.Play calling horrible, run when we should have pass, didn't spread the Carolina defense, Jacksons unfortunate fumbles. Overall the Rams offense is a step too slow.
