All the more reason that we have no excuse for not winning this game.

All the more reason to make every hit count and make 'em think about what's coming.

Re: Now this is an injury report

We now have no excuses. We're fully rested at home with no significant injuries. They are on the road with half of their DBs intact and huge questions surrounding most of their offensive skill positions. Couple this with the fact that we dug ourselves a hole in our last outing and allowed the Seahawks to match our record, make no mistake my friends, this is a must-win. A hate to think of a season hinging on one game, but this may be one of those situations.

All the above: very true. Timing: perfect. Opportunity: fresh and most promising.

...Nevertheless, regardless of the injury report/status of the Patriots, we know this is the BIGGEST test of our season thus far.

And we need to welcome NE with a menacing, malicious grin. :angryram:

This is a BIG game. Let's get down to business.

Who's worse, the Patriots with all these injuries, or the Dolphins?

    I guess we'll see.

Re: Now this is an injury report

Looking over this list, everything seems to be in the Rams favor. Not only in terms of injury, but the fact that this is a home game, and the fact that we're coming off the bye, and the fact that the Pats no longer have that unbeatable montra about them.

Indeed, we have no reason not to win this game.

Wonderful point, ZZR. That's why I believe this game is based on what Ram team shows up as well as who the Pats put on the field. The dolphins played above themselves, but we didn't put a good team on the Miami field. If the team that played the 1st half in SF or the 2nd half in Seattle or even the team that played TB shows up, then we can get past the MASH unit that the Pats are going to bring to the Dome.

Re: Now this is an injury report

Let's remember one thing....it's tough to win on the road anywhere in the NFL. Especially against a good defense like Miami and a hungry team that wants to win. Miami beat us......so what? We beat Oakland in 2002 when we were 0-5 AT HOME and Oakland still went to the Super Bowl.

As Herman Edwards said, "It's Damn tough to win in the NFL. Damn tough. Especially on the road."

Re: Now this is an injury report

I don't know what the fuss is about this injury report. After this weekend's game the report will look even more alarming. After the Rams deliver the pain, many more Patriots are going to be crying "Daddy" and that report will look even worse.

Did you hear that Vert boy (for the uninitiated that is "Trev" inverted getting ready to do a grinder)? Your number has been called. You're up. May I suggest a little more sheet metal in the elbow pads first though? Watch your blindside too, they know you're coming. We'll get 5-0 to cover your back. It's Crime and Punishment time.
