Now Timmerman
This is getting fricking old!!!
Injury Updates
Saturday, October 29, 2005
- Things don't look good on the injury front for the Rams. Here are Saturday's updates.
- Cornerback Travis Fisher didn't do as much in Friday's practice as he had hoped and he was downgraded to questionable Saturday afternoon because of a groin injury. Chris Johnson is still questionable, also and it doesn't look like he'll go because he did next to nothing in practice this week. Expect to see plenty of Corey Ivy and Ronald Bartell against the Jags.
- Guards Claude Terrell and Adam Timmerman were also downgraded to questionable. Terrell doesn't look like he will be able to go and Tom Nutten will replace him if that's the case. Terrell's neck injury didn't make much progress and he was limited in practice. Timmerman's back acted up Friday and he went to the chiropractor after Friday's practice. Apparently, he didn't get much good news. He is questionable because of that injury and if he can't go will be replaced by Rex Tucker, who hasn't played since the opener. Timmerman is extremely tough, though, and will be hard to keep out of the lineup. He loves a challenge like he will get from the Jacksonville defensive tackles and it takes a lot to put him on the sideline. There's a better chance for Timmerman than Terrell, in my opinion.
- As for the four Pro Bowlers, they were all officially downgraded to out for this week. Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Leonard Little and Marc Bulger will not play for the second consecutive week. Jamie Martin, of course, will handle quarterback duties with Shaun McDonald and Kevin Curtis filling in for Bruce and Holt and Tyoka Jackson for Little. Jackson is probable with a toe injury and should be fine to go. Jackson and Brandon Green did a solid job in Little's place last week and will need to do so again.
- That's all for now, check back tomorrow morning for pregame notes and inactives.

Re: @#$#@% Now Timmerman
I'll tell you what, if we can somehow pull out a win over the Jags despite all the mounting adversity, it will be a huge statement about the toughness and potential of this team.

Re: Now Timmerman
Yeah, that sucks.
Lots of injuries around the league.
Damn, 4 all-pros and both starting guards.
What happened to Saipaia? Is he injured too?

Re: @#$#@% Now Timmerman
I agree this should really pump this team up and get them believing they can do anything if they can beat the Jags. It will be a great test for these guys with so many leaders not playing but watching the game. Its adversity they must go through but they will be stronger in the end for it.

Wow! The Walking Wounded; However, Don't Give Up The Ship. The Rams Will Dig Down Deep And Stay Focused On The Immediate Goal Of Going Into The Bye Week (4-4).
Reserves Will Step Up. Tyoka Jackson Had A Big Game Last Week, Jaime Martin Had A Decent Game And Took Care The rock. No Doubt If Needed, Rex Tucker Is Ready And Fresh Having Had Time To Thinkaboutit.
Rams 2nd String Receivers Are Still Better Than Anything That Jacksonville Has.
The Jaguars' Quarterback Byron Leftwich Still Hasn't Proven To Be Anything Special Since Coming Into The League.
And IMHO The Jacksonville "D" Is Highly Overrated. Steven Jacksons' Got Over 100 Yards Rushing Tomorrow, If He Wants It!
So, What's To Fear?
Is It Halloween Yet?!!!:mask:Last edited by dgr828; -10-30-2005 at 07:42 AM.
