    Now we're Cooking!

    What a debut! (Fumble aside)

He is a HUGE addition and a major mismatch. I expect him to earn his $.

    Great win!

He is a freak, can do some serious damage this year. About time we got a dynamic player or 2 on offense.

To watch the way Bradford and Cook operated today was awe inspiring. These two have something special going on.

Hopefully this is only "the beginning of a great friendship" [Casablanca].

As for Bradford & Cook, and others in the Rams passing game, I also hope that this is only THE BEGINNING:

What a breath of fresh air a win like this makes!

May this victory be, then, (all things considered) ... a sign of good things to come!

    I am impressed!

It's been a long time since I could say that. I like how Cook brushed off the lapse in ball security and continued to play his game. The next chance he got he was hanging the ball out there while diving for the endzone. Very nice win for our Rams!!!

27/38 for 299 yards....That's 71% completion rate, and 11 yards per pass caught/ 7.9 yards per pass attempted. Yeah, Sam's "Cookin'".

No it can't be. Bradford sucks. Remember?

'Really liked that strike to JC right down the middle! Too bad it didn't count but I think we can rest assured that Cook won't drop it like that again!

    Re: Now we're Cooking!

    49whinners 1-0
    Seagulls 1-0
    Rams 1-0
Cards 0-1* loss to division opponent

I got to watch all the NFC-West games and I am not surprised what I saw. I knew the Seagull/Panther game would be a tossup coming down to mistakes, and rightly the Seagulls should have lost with the Panthers beating themselves more so then Seattle.

However, 49whinner game was the Capt. Kemp/A. Bolden show. F. Gore mostly contained but the passing game killed the Packers! Now was it the Packers defensive line play that cost them the game? I believe so. The Packers had C. Matthews shadowing Capt. Kemp and often that work affectively; also the Packer's D-line held the 49whinner's running game in check till the late 4th quarter, yet Kemp was not harried, harassed, or hurried. Thing is come the Rams/49Whinner matchup in a few weeks, if the Rams play the kind of pass defense they did against the Cards and don't get to Capt. Kemp, it'll be a blowout. I sincerely hope Cook/ T. Austin and Bradford can play a ball control game to help out the Rams defense

He played so well, I picked him up as my TE1 in my fantasy draft tonight. Big time sleeper, was ranked 110, probably 15th in terms of TEs. But I see him getting career highs in yards and touchdowns.

The guy already has half as many TDs and a quarter of the yards that he had last season.

Cook was fantastic and certainly showed why the Rams valued him as a high priority free agent. I'm anxious to see what he and Sam are able to accomplish this year.

All the credit goes to Fisher/Snead! They knew Cook was a major piece of the puzzle that would be a perfect fit.!!!

    Dumb question...
Does his yardage/catchcount include the play he fumbled on?

Yep... Cook was moving on that catch.
