    NT Clifton Ryan

What a game from Clifton Ryan [4 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF] he was the best player on the defense. LaRoi Glover is terrible and the Rams need to play both Ryan and Carriker and let them stand up the run and continue to sack the QB.

He had a solid game, I thought the Defense and patchwork offense played solid, considering the circumstances on both sides of the ball.

I agree 100% Ryan should be starting and Glover can come in in passing situations.

Maybe we should move Carriker to the UT and make Ryan our starting NT on a permanent basis. That way Carriker could make use of some of his pass rushing abilities.

Great performance by the young man, him and Carriker give us a base to build upon...

At least we think that Carriker and Ryan should be able to solve our D-line problem.
Now we just got to fix our offense... which was suppose to be primed for this year

Ryan, Bartell, and Witherspoon did really good. James Hall also made a case for himself.

    Re: NT Clifton Ryan

I agree about Ryan, he really stepped up today when we needed someone on defense to make plays. I think most of our defense did quite well today. The long Gore touchdown and some play action passes were the only times I recall the D not doing well. Spoon seemed to have a better game, and though our pass rush was still somewhat inconsistent, it showed up at key times.

I agree Ryan starts and Glover is now in charge of the gatorade bucket.

Hey, it's a bright spot in a dark loss today. It also means that the 4 game suspension to Wroten means a lot less. We said before that this is Ryan's 4 game audition and he started out amazingly well.

I agree about Ryan, he played HUGH today. Hall played well also. Spoon looks much better behind this line IMO.

The long Gore touchdown will be shown by the media and that the Rams can't stop the run.

For some reason I feel better this week then last.

well you shouldn't, a loss is a loss, you can pick out some good things if you want but bottom line is we are 0-2.

You have to build on the positves, it's a long way to go.

Hags score up date down 17-0!

That makes me even more frustrated, if they end up losing today then it was a huge opportunity lost by the Rams...

with all due respect this team should not have to scoreboard watch, win games and you don't have to worry about what everyone else is doing.
