    Re: Number 1 Post-Draft Priority

RAMMAN68 "I'm kind of curious as to why so many people want to pursue Jenkins when we just drafted 3 DT's?, (Yes Carriker is going to start at DT)"

I would have like to seen a talent veteran like Jenkins, sorry 3 rookie DL'S don't excite me. Mabe 2 or 3 years when they learn how to play at the NFL level. I gust I want my cake and eat it to. I want to win now I don't think they can get us there this year.

    Re: Number 1 Post-Draft Priority

Signing our Franchise QB to a long term deal for sure, it's not every day that a team is fortunate enough to have such an accurate passer as Bulger and we musn't let him slip away. With the quality receiving options we have and with the beast at RB we have an offense that most teams could only dream off and we should not lose sight of that..

It has to be Bulger and this will happen...........I'm waiting to see with all the rookie DE's entering the leaque maybe we could pick up a Vet who will get released during the summer or mini camp, with pass rush skills, but I'm hoping hall works out !!

how about a tackling seminar instructed by Ronnie Lott? Even though he was a whiner he could tackle. A tackling seminar of any sort should be on the radar.

Resign Marc Bulger, give him the contract he deserves. Something like 5 or 6 years, with the possibility of an extension.

I would still like to see a move made for Jenkins, salary cap-permitting. I think we should keep Carrkier on the outside, where he's able to utilize his speed. Think about a defensive line of:

    RE: Carriker
    UT: Wroten/Glover/Kennedy ?
    NT: Jenkins
    LE: Little

In my opininon that defensive line would be 200% better than the one we fielded last year. None of the rookie defensive ends we drafted on day two are going to come in and make any kind of impact, whatsoever, so I still think a true NT is a big need.

Try to aquire Lance Briggs and a DT.

Next year in the draft, draft heavy in the secondary and maybe another WR or DL and the Rams defense could be set IMO. Then the next year find a replacement for Bruce and draft heavy for your Oline replacements for the future, by that time you'll need a replacement for Bulger.

I don't think Bulger has but 2 yrs left in him. That's my thought , so stone me.
But let's see how this young line comes together this year & see if we don't need O-linemen anyway and trade JK JB for some o-line.
And by getting some much needed protection for mark, his QB life could improve and an extension would be in order!

Huh? Bulger has way more than 2 years left. I would say more like 4 years or even 5 years depending on the kinda protection he has.

I don't think you would get anything more than backup scrub Olinemen for Kennedy and Bulter.
