    I don't think it would take a Bill Cowher or jimmy Johnson; all it takes is someone with a little common sense. If your starting QB has broken ribs, and you have a capable back up, you start the back up. When your entire offensive game plan is to protect the QB and not turn the ball over, you make sure you have a solid defense that can make up for your lack of points.

    Right now the Chargers are probably experiencing a hefty dose of buyer's remorse ...
    Here in Charger ville, the wagoners are jumping ship. At least they have won a game and their offense has scored points. Wish I could say the same for our beloved team.

    Vermeil won because he hired a staff that had experience and previous success. This staff, aside from Haslett, has done next to nothing prior to coming here.

    ...And why would you assume Schottenheimer would keep the staff Linehan hired? Obviously one of the problems is the coaching staff, along with the Head Coach himself. So, the revamping of this team would be soloely on the coaching staff...side of the ball? lol
