Do you support the team? Thinking going forward that by you supporting the team it will be assumed that you support homosexuality?

Do you watch the games with your kids?
I get the feeling you already have your answer on this, but I'll play along anyway. I don't "support homosexuality" in so much as it goes against the religious beliefs I hold. The same religious beliefs that says we are all to love each other regardless. I see homosexuality as a sin. No different than any other sin. And Michael Sam is no different than any other sinner.....which is to say no different than any other human being on the planet. Or more to the point, no different than any other player in that lockerroom.

So, to answer your question, supporting a team that has Michael Sam on the roster is absolutely the same as supporting a team that does not have Michael Sam on the roster.

Very well said Hub and I agree 100%. Just because I don't agree with homosexuality doesn't mean I hate homosexuals. I don't agree with drug use but that doesn't mean I hate addicts. I don't agree with left wing politics but it doesn't mean I hate commie pinkos. I truly do wish though that the sports media would cover Sam the football player. Leave his personal life to ET, TMZ, Huffington Post and the like.

If I worried about other peoples morality, ideology, politics, religious beliefs, lifestyle choices, or anything else I vehemently had disagreement with when it comes to sports or entertainment, I wouldn't be able to experience any sports or entertainment.

To answer your question, my support of the Rams is unaffected by what any players lifestyle choices or beliefs are.

Michael Sam is a human being, and currently a football player who plays for the st. louis rams

he is not Michael Sam the gay guy, that is not the only quality that defines him, just as I am not defined by my sexuality or any of you...

he has MANY other traits that make him who he is

I hope Sam will get to destroy as many opposing players during his career

How sad that people who have reached the age of 'reason' still let ancient mythology guide their opinion of others. How very rational of you.
