The Giants called. They want their 0-5 record back.

If so, is this the one?

Oyo Sports Toys -- are these the figurines that the NFL is marketing this year? According to a P-D article Friday, LT Jake Long will be the first Ram to have one made, then Chris Long in December. Too bad the Rams horn is distorted by the helmet paint design.

See the Oyo page at: Oyosportstoys.com/Football/St-Louis-Rams/Jake-Long-Cornerback#.UlEHByQqjcs.

One thing is for sure ... it was MUCH more meaningful and memorable because Rams WON vs. Jags!

I'm gonna say and I mean it WE NEED A NEW QB, I just watched what great QB does Manning is the MAN. Bradford will never win us a Championship. Had it not been for the two defensive plays we would have lost that game.

There were no dropped balls this week, but there were some overthrown plays.

There were plenty of dropped balls today, most by Austin. And yes, there were more than a few overthrown passes.

I agree. The more I see of Bradford the more I realize he is just not that good. I watched him completely miss, over throw and under throw wide open receivers. He has trouble making the simple plays and its maddening. He should be at or near the top of his game by now or very close to it, and I just don't see any improvement. if anything he has regressed. Bradford is not the answer. We went out and got him some great targets to throw to, so he has no complaints there. This is his make or break year and its coming down around his ears.

The idiotic play calling has not helped either, not has the fact we don't have a running game, but Bradford should be picking defenses apart by now with all this great ability. You are seeing as good as its going to get with him. Its time to admit the mistake and look to draft a QB next year.

Joe Flacco had a pretty similar game against Buffalo compared to Bradford's last 2 prior to the Jags. When both QBs running game were absent, they tend to falter. The difference between the two is that Flacco actually had the balls to air it out under adversity despite the 5 picks he threw. If Bradford continues to play scared throughout the season, then I wouldn't complain about moving forward from him. But I prefer building around the Bradford's strengths and I'm doubtful that Schottenheimer's the answer to our offensive woes unless I see his playcalling fare against better defenses.

My point: Bradford and Schottenheimer need to improve on their assignments; Sam has to put a little more trust in his O-line at times to let the routes develop and scan the field while fooling the safeties with your vision. Schottenheimer has to stop making some of the most idiotic play calling *cough* throw it on 3rd and short as opposed to running it.

Manning is playing with an offensive unit thats better then the one that made Tim Tebow look like a good QB.

Bradford may never develop into a top 5 QB, but I find it amusing how often he is singled out. I personally believe without Bradford the Rams would be losing by a much larger margin and winning by less if at all.

The Rams are playing bad as a TEAM right now. Kaepernick is about to beat the Texans by 31 points with only 110 passing yards. What would happen if Bradford only threw for 110 yards against any team? The Rams would lose big. The team as a whole isnt very good. Teddy Bridgewater is not going to stop the special teams penalties that ruin field position for the offense, nor will he stop the busts in coverage, or the missed tackles or the bad run defense.

Now I know people would say Bradford was drafted #1 and he is suppose to be a playmaker that puts up big numbers. But is his environment supportive of that? He has a highly conservative, run first head coach and offensive coordinator. 4 years into his career the Rams finally use a high draft pick to bring him a big play receiver, and so far its not working out. Is it Austin's fault or Bradford's or Schottenheimer's who knows, but the two arent clicking right now.

The Rams have bigger issues then Bradford. They need to restructure his contract to something worthy of a QB thats in the 8th -12th best in the league range, because the numbers arent there, and its not all his fault.

Re: The Official Rams vs. Jags Thread

whoever the qb coach is, they're not doing bradford justice, if other teams know exactly when you're going to throw it let alone where....something isn't being done to help work on that

and comparing bradford and manning is ludicrous....if bradford was at manning's level now that'd be unbelievable, and yea, the offense isn't helping either

    singling him out is stupid

what i say is that the rams need a new quarterback COACH
