LB Tank Carder
A fifth-round pick, Carder is a surprising cut, but will presumably be stashed on the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Are the Rams 2nd in pecking order for every player that gets waived? Not sure how the waiving system works. If so, we should be able to get a DE / Safety at least
Keep an eye on DT Andre Fluellen, just released by the Lions.
Another one to watch: Antonio Dixon, just released by Eagles.
DT Antonio Dixon will be a Ram. Solid run stuffing, wide bodied DT that didn't fit the Pigeons wide-9 scheme.
I'm thinking at DT Claude Wroten and signing Plaxidental Shooting Burress. Uh, maybe not!
I noticed S Omar Browns in last night's game but it's hard to make much of a call after seeing the guy for all of one pre-season game. Rams sure could use help at S and Atogwe wouldn't be bad to bring back. I expect at least one DT from somewhere to be signed and Dixon could very well be one.
Kellen Clemens was released!
DT Amobi Okoye, released by Tampa Bay. Don't know what happened in Tampa, but he is still only 25 years old. May be worth a look.
We all know how Sam got injured last year. Im not exactly 100% sold on this offensive line, so we definitely need a dependable back-up QB. I liked what I seen from Austin Davis, but I don't exactly feel comfortable with him being the next up to go. Here are some potential and solid additions.
QB - Seneca Wallace: He was let go by the Browns. He's 32 years old and has played in 62 games. He's got a lot of experience, and brings a new dimension to our team, a speedy QB.
QB - Josh Johnson: He was released by the Bucs. He's 26 and has started 6 games. Never got a fair chance to play because of Josh Freeman. I think he is a decent backup and also brings serious speed to a relatively slow team. Strong armed as well.
OL - Dan Koppen: He was released by the Pats. He started at C for 120 games for the Cheaters. 32 years old, maybe he could make a move to OG and start there, or backup at C.
OG - Brandon Washinton: He was let go by the Pigeons. A few of us were pretty high on him during the draft realizing his potential. A run blocking beast at 6'2 320 lbs, Washington has lots of potential only being 24 and being drafted just a few months ago.
DT - Antonio Dixon: Let go by the Eagles due to not being a fit in the wide-9 Pigeons scheme. He is a wide bodied run stuffing DT (6'3, 322 lbs) he is only 27 and has a lot of potential. I think he is almost a for-sure addition.
CB - Joselio Hanson: Also let go by the Eagles, Hanson is one of the better slot CB's in the NFL at 31. Im not sure we should add him, but the recent talks about trading Bradley Fletcher may open up a spot for another veteran. Hanson has played in 100+ games.
Maybe a DE or veteran S wouldn't hurt either. I think we can add a few guys here or there and become a much better and deeper team. We look pretty good so far, and I am pleased. Hopefully we can continue to grow and compete, and most importantly stay healthy. Lets hope Brockers comes back insanely quick, because he was an amazing addition.
I think Josh Johnson or Brian Hoyer would be good choices for our #2. Those are my top choices.
I also wouldn't mind taking Cliff Harris, if we trade Fletcher away might need to pick up a new cb, and he could easily be used as punt/kick returner so we wouldnt have to worry about the starters getting injured or something.
